In-Store Consultation & Design Tips
Our knowledgeable and skilled garden designers will listen to your planting desires and discuss the specifics of the area to be planted.  They'll discover what you like, don’t like and wish you had. Sun exposure, soil type and water sources all reflect on what types of plants will thrive in the specific location. With this important information on hand, our staff can offer design choices for your garden’s style, function and individuality.

We'll suggest garden design tips to help turn what was once only a vision into a distinctive, colorful and blooming garden. The information gathered during the consultation serves as our design guide. Artistic plant selections are then made and combined with the natural flow of the property and the size of the home.

 

You will receive a proposal with your garden design, including a detailed plant list and cost analysis. We will also walk you through the greenhouses and nursery at Heaven Hill Farm, present samples of the proposed plants, and provide information to help you completely understand the process of implementing the garden design.

 

With our suggestions and tips, some customers will be able to take this information and begin to create their dream garden on their own.  For others, the process of planting and gardenscaping is best left to the pros.  If you seem to fall within the latter category, no worries.  We will refer you to a landscape colleague that we know and trust.
